After a long wait, Yamaha has launched the MT-15 Moto GP edition. Now, this is the top model of the MT-15 line-up. The company officially calls it the MT-15 Monster Energy Moto GP edition.
Around one month after the launch of the Moto GP edition of FZ-S, Yamaha motor has unveiled its MT-15 Moto GP edition. This special edition is available for pre-booking at Rs. 2000. There are no technical updates given to this model. It has some basic look touch-ups such as a golden brand logo and monster energy emblem on the fuel tank. Moreover, it gets blue graphics on the radiator shroud.

Yamaha MT-15 has every feature that thrills a rider. It has an intimidating and aggressive look, all thanks to the bifunctional LED headlight design. This bike has impeccable features a hyper-naked should have. These bifunctional LED headlights provide the rider with better night vision.
In terms of features, it has a digital clock, gear shift indicator, fuel consumption indicator, and step seat. Moreover, it has a side stand engine cut-off switch, LED headlights and taillights, daytime running lights, digital speedometer, tachometer, and fuel gauge.
In terms of safety features, it has front and rear disc brakes, a single channel anti-lock braking system, and a rear tubeless radial tire. It equips an assist and slipper clutch for smooth, enjoyable downshifts. It also features a uni-level seat with grab bars for better comfort and grip. Like most other bikes of MT-15 line up, MT-15 Moto GP also equips negative LCD instrument clusters.

The specifications of Yamaha MT-15 have no such updates and are the same as the other models of the MT-15 line-up. It equips a BS6 compliant 155 cc FI engine. This engine is liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, and has a 4-valve with variable valve actuation technology. This 155 cc engine delivers Max power of 13.6 kW at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 13.9 Nm @ 8500 rpm. A 6-speed constant mesh transmission handles the transmission duties of the MT-15 Moto GP edition.
The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10 L and a delta box frame type built. MT-15 Moto GP has a kerb weight of 138 kg with oil and a full fuel tank. A telescopic fork front suspension and linked-type monocross rear suspension handle the suspension duties of MT-15 Moto GP.
Rivals of Yamaha MT-15 Moto GP
Yamaha MT-15 Moto GP monster energy will compete against the KTM 125 Duke and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

According to the company, Moto GP MT-15 has been unveiled under the brand direction ‘The call of the blue.’ This naked streetfighter has many cosmetic updates which make it distinctive from the standard MT-15.
