On the eve of 75th Independence Day, 14th August 2021, Mahindra is ready to launch its new SUV, XUV 700. This SUV will be the first model to feature the brand new Logo of Mahindra and Mahindra four-wheelers. After testing a fully camouflaged XUV 700 prototype model on the Indian roads, Mahindra XUV 700 is finally launching on 14th August 2021.
It will be available in a seven-seat configuration, and the make and design will be very similar to XUV 500.
It will feature a trapezium-shaped front grille with around six vertical Chrome highlights, and in the top center, there will be the brand new Logo of Mahindra. It will also feature an angular LED headlamp with extensions heading towards the front grille.
Moreover, it would have flush-fitting door handles, which will match the exterior color tone and dual-tone V-shaped alloy wheels.
Apart from this, we can expect that XUV 700 will feature roof rails as standard.
This SUV will have a Chrome touch-up at the window lining, on the front side, and maybe at the tailgate.
Two different engines, either petrol or diesel, handle the power duties of the Mahindra XUV 700.
We can expect the petrol engine to be a 2.0 L mStalion engine, which will produce a max power of 200 bhp, and on the other hand, the diesel engine could be a 2.0 L mHawk engine, which will deliver Max power of 185 bhp. Also, both manual and automatic transmissions will be available with all new Mahindra 700 and will feature an all-wheel drive.
In addition to all these features and specifications, it will feature Smart Filter Technology. The company claims that this filter will filter out 99% bacteria and 95% viruses. Another feature will be driver drowsiness detection, a tech-enabled safety feature.
We can also expect a panoramic sunroof which will also be one of the largest in its segment.
In its interior, it will feature a wireless charging pad and two horizontally placed large screens. These screens will comprise both an infotainment setup as well as a multi-information display. The steering wheel will have the brand new Logo in the center, and audio controls and controls for Cruise Control could also be available on the steering wheel. Seats would be either leather or faux leather with a perforated texture, and the dashboard will have stitching lines running across the panel and will get a soft texture.
